Angélique Desjardins is a graduate of Concordia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music. Angélique has almost 30 years of experience as a professional musician and 10 years as a teacher. She has performed with some of Canada’s best musicians and was a featured artist on the Radio Canada television special ‘Ay que Calor!’ hosted by GIldor Roy. Angélique’s band has held the mainstage at festivals all over Quebec such as Just for laughs and Divercité. Her good fortune and expertise have given her the opportunity to work with children of all ages and needs such as down syndrome, autism and the hearing impaired.

The Founder and creator of ‘Tamtams for tots’ and’ Movement, music and the mind’ her desire to improve the lives of kids and share her passion for music with others inspires her daily. Angelique has volunteered her services to such charitable organizations as Women in Mind and Hippy Quebec. Her vast professional background, passion for music combined with her own ‘je ne sais quoi’ makes for an innovative teaching experience for all to enjoy.
