About

Hey y’all! I am a wanna be southern belle living in Montréal Québec. A musician, a teacher and a proud solo Mom, raising two young men who are going to make brilliant husband’s and father’s one day for sure!

We lost their amazing father and my husband suddenly in 2013. To say life as we knew it changed in an instant would be a gross understatement. When the dust settled and reality set in I realized I had two choices. To let it rob me of all the joy I dreamed of, all the happy ever afters I had planned in my mind and all hope for my children and their fantastic futures. Or I could let the experience lift me up and lead me to a better life. To learn that joy and sadness can live side by side. That life altering traumas hurt deeply but can never rob us of our soul’s desire to live and live well.

After becoming a solo Mom I got back on stage, taught children and created music programs for kids of all ages. I threw all the iron’s in the fire and was blessed by the blaze.

It is my desire to give kids the tools they need to be awesome human beings. I am tough on kids (my own included) but my heart is huge for all of them. I believe we can ask more of our children, giving them the opportunity to experience their own power. For that matter I ask more of myself so I can grow as a woman into my own fullness and hope to encourage other women along the way. Hopefully you will learn about all the exciting music programs we offer but you will also laugh, feel encouraged, supported and inspired.

‘When we wish only the best for our children, the love of an art form such as music is a gift we offer them, that is theirs to keep for a lifetime’.
